One of the biggest obstacles to getting any site up and running in a prudent amount of time is usually outside of my control. It’s content. I design your presence, but I don’t know what you know. Since I’m picking up somewhere between 1 and 3 new projects (probably 3) I decided I should take the time to identify some questions to generate content. This is the beta outline

  1. Simply stated, what is the purpose of your organization having a website?
  2. Who is your intended audience? Fellow org. members? Existing or potential customers?
  3. Ideally, what information would you like to communicate to that audience through the website?
  4. Of those items listed, what one or two items will be the most important to communicate?
  5. Does this information exist right now in other forms or media? If it does not, who will be creating it?

I want this to be as simple as possible, but cover all the ground for a schema.

Please comment if you see any holes in this.
