Do you know what Straight-line Winds are?  I didn’t – at least not before Tuesday night…

After the sun had gone down on Tuesday night, while we sat in our Living Room  glad to be warm and inside instead of cold and wet outside, we hear a wonderful sound akin to something like our city garbage can being dragged down the driveway – then the lights went out and the shaking started.  30 minutes later when we emerged from the laundry room with our candles and flashlights, we discovered this massive tree blow over in our yard.  It’s mostly gone now, but it was an experience.
